Management

Part of my travels in my journey includes 10 years as an IT team manager.  I found the job very rewarding as I assisted team members in their professional development.

I have a collaborative management style, fostering team work and cooperation.  I strive to build an environment where people are not afraid to make mistakes for sometimes is is through our mistakes that the greatest learning and advancement occurs.

Some of my most rewarding career accomplishments involved working with the human side of IT.  It is most gratifying to be approached by former employees expressing thanks for something I may have taught them.  Technical accomplishments are great but last only as long as the next product release while human advancement can last a lifetime.
